The ICTP-EAIFR has opened its call for a two-year master's degree in one of the following three disciplines: Condensed Matter Physics, Solid State Physics, and High Energy Physics.

The application deadline is May 31, 2026.

Master's degree courses are designed around the ICTP postgraduate diploma program with an additional first year.

The first year coursework is common to all fields of study. The second year is devoted to domain specific coursework and ends with a thesis.

After successful completion of course and thesis works, students will obtain a master's degree in physics from the University of Rwanda.
